I met Tom Jones while on a sabbatical in Tennessee. I was hiking at the Sadie Ford Farm and noticed him working on brooms in the tiny cabin on the farm. I popped in to say hello and asked him if I could come back and capture his story. This here, is a little film about how he got into broom-making.

My family comes from a long line of arborist and I’ve always wanted to film my dad telling his story. One day while visiting him in Ohio, I got him to do just that. He said he’d only tell me once and that I’d better get the shot! With that..here’s the story of John Montgomery.
